Happy Friday everyone. How about a little Friday Design Update? (I know I should probably spread this out… maybe I’ll get to post more often when my busy little boy starts preschool next week. *sniff*) This week I was able to finish a flyer for Malu Boutiques. I designed a new logo and blog for Maylene a while back and she asked if I would help with a design that she could hand out to new contacts. For this flyer I decided to incorporate some of the blog’s awning design, and she would also need some photos that could explain in better detail what she offers. Feel free to jump over to her online shop, you might find something you can use for your next celebration!
Another design I finished (last week) was a reference illustration for Pom Flair. Carmen has a knack for putting together all kinds of hanging party decor featuring Poms, Pommettes, and Tassels. Check out her shop (here) and grab something. Remember, Poms aren’t just for parties but can be used as room decor too!
I’ve also completed the designs for the upcoming wedding. I printed most of the paper products, and cut them to size, including 150 4 single page programs. My paper cutter is getting a work out, for sure! I can’t wait to share all of the fun details with you. It’s only a week away! Here’s a peek at one of the things they’ll have at the reception. Aubrey asked me to use this poem she found online. Isn’t it cute?
One more thing I’d like to share. Remember how I repurposed the Country Baby shower invitation for a 50th Birthday party? I have also changed it up for a Wedding shower. I love how it keeps evolving. I wonder what’s next!
