Hello there. Here’s a quick update on some of my more recent projects. I finally finished a website design for LaVonne at lfevents. LaVonne is following her passion for event planning and has opened her proverbial shop doors. Her logo was the inspiration for the elements of offset pencil lines and floating hearts along with the brown and pinks. I also used the hearts as roll-overs for the different link pages. 🙂 If any of you need a wedding planner, she’s great to work with! Check her out.
Another project that I have been pretty consumed with is a family wedding’s reception decor, specifically, the paper elements. It’s been a thrill to assist them with decor ideas and to create the art and design for this wedding as it is not the typical florals and damask. Aubrey has decided to go with the bicycle theme which has become more popular of late. The wedding is in a couple of weeks and I hope to share with you all of the ‘extras’ soon after. I’ll leave you with this for now – the invitation and envelope. I used a vellum overlay that showcased the bicycle my husband drew. I also created a liner for the envelopes incorporating the floating hearts and printed the same style hearts on the outside.
Last thing (for now), I was happily surprised when the Country Baby Shower listing I have on Etsy was purchased recently. Why? They wanted to revise the invitation for a Surprise 50th Birthday! How fun is that!
