I just finished baking a batch of oh-so-rich chocolate cookies. My son was so proud to help crack the eggs into the bowl, turn the mixer on and off, along with ‘dump’ in the flour and other little things I could trust him with. It’s great to have this time with him and I expect he’ll be baking me something someday! My husband David REALLY likes the cookies so I now know they are chocolaty enough. LOL I found the recipe in a library book but I wasn’t sure how they would actually turn out since the batter was extremely soft. Turns out it was right-on and they came out super!
