Over this past week, we had some of my cousins from Italy visit us (stayed with my parents), along with my aunt and uncle from Pennsylvania. It was really great to see them and we had a lot of good meals, as you might guess. My uncle and aunt (and cousin) from Clearwater joined us on Sunday too. I was able to cook for everyone on Sunday and made a couple of things throughout the week, like pane italiano (italian bread) and zuppa (soup), and I enjoyed that very much. Unfortunately work has been extremely busy for me, and especially for David. It’s been kind of tough physically, but it all worked out.
I made another watermelon for our trip to my Uncle’s house in Clearwater on the 4th of July.
This was the lemon cake I made for dessert after Sunday’s meal at our house.
This is all of us on Sunday afternoon in our living room… eating again.
Here’s some of my family from left to right: Franco, his wife Anna, (their son Samuele is in one of the pictures above), my dad’s sister Giuseppina, her husband Salvatore, my dad’s brother’s wife Franca, my dad’s brother Pasquale (their daughter Sabrina is in a picture above), me, my mom Esther and my dad, Giuseppe

I love the watermelon fruit bowl and the lemon cake looks delicious!
