At church today, we had our 5th Sunday Fellowship Lunch. Whenever a month has 5 Sundays, the 5th Sunday is generally when we have a meal together right after our morning service. It’s a time that we can spend ‘catching up’ with our church family and it’s always so nice.
Today’s theme was Independence Day Picnic. We had a deli meat and cheese tray for sandwiches and everyone brought sides to pair with it. I brought the fruit. I’ve been handed a lot of work lately so I didn’t have a lot of time to spend, but I did want to create something fun.
I don’t like the jagged edges around bowl, but overall I think it came out pretty decent and the fruit was quite tastey!
When I enlarged the picture; my mouth started to “water”!
The stars attached to the lemon slices and around the rim add a nice touch; this is a fanciful treat!
Your church family is very close and I think it’s great you have 5th Sunday’s fellowship lunch.
