Or will it?
Whatever our song may be, our song will be sung.
As I was humming the new chorus we added to the hymn we sang this morning, I got stuck on one part. The chorus goes like this: Halleluiah, Halleluiah, Our song will rise… to the glory of our God. It was the latter part that started penetrating my spirit. Will my song rise to His glory? What is my song? And surely it came to me, my song is my life. How does my life “sound” to God? Is it a sweet melody or is it a harsh, off-tune noise? I want my song to be a refreshing tune. One that has a fair amount of modulations, always moving you upward. A song that has gentle movement at times and at other times makes you dance. One that invites others to sing with me. I want my song to be powerful, moving, exilarating, meaningful and lifechanging. But most importantly, I want my song to bring glory to my Excellent and Gracious and Loving God. Actually, He is my song.
What does your song sound like?

Awesome Blog Michele….I want my song to be beautiful unto my Lord…to give Him praise and adore Him. I want…when He hears it…he smiles. I want it to please Him so much He SMILES!
Have a blessed day chickadee!

very thought provoking…brings a new twist to the truth that our lives are a sacrafice of worship. All that I do is to worship Him!

Is that you and Gina at the Piano?

That’s funny you say that Chad. I got that picture when I was like 18 and at first I considered it to be a picture of my cousin and me because we used to sing together. Then, when she and I had a falling out, Gina and I sang a lot together and I kind of thought it was a nice illustration of Gina and me. 🙂

I want my song to be one that moves a generation, my generation. i want it to make you laugh, then think about it and realize that even though it sounded funny, it was the hard core truth.
