My Parents

This is about my parents. Yep. They deserve some recognition.

They took care of me as I was growing up and they are still there for me today!

There’ve been so many times my dad has helped me out, taught me things, been there, it’s hard to pick just one to share. For instance, last week my vehicle wouldn’t start. It was my starter and I was stuck at a dentist’s office. Rather than have a tow truck come out, my parents were willing to drive almost 30 minutes to help me out. On top of that, my dad got it started for me and got me home.

Same with my mom. Lots of examples, tough to pick one. My mom was there for me when I was stressing out before a big brunch I was putting on. I always overdo it and as usual, my mom came over early to get me out of a bind.

There’ve been many other occasions throughout my life. They are always willing to help me out, encourage me, mentor me and just about anything else. They’ve given me a great example of what a Christian should look like and have taught me to love Christ with all my heart. It’s pretty great having parents like that.

I owe them a lot, and I just wanted to share with everyone how great I think they are.
