Shoes for Cake

My former cake decorating teacher referred me to this person who needed a few pieces for her friends’ surprise birthday cake. Turns out, she already had the shoes done by someone else but they weren’t what she wanted and hired me to re-do them. They are less than 6″ long and I wasn’t too sure I could do this but David and my teacher insisted I could. I was a little nervous but I decided to go for it. I am mostly happy with how they came out. The buckle on the one shoe is wrong and there are several other things I would work on if I had to do it over but this is what I could do at this stage of my experience.

She also asked me to do a shoe box and a shopping bag and that’s next on my list! Everything is edible except the buckle and the gems. TFL!
