Early next year there will be a new addition to our extended family. Yesterday was my sister-in-law’s baby shower and everything was so pink and girly and cute. I was allowed to make the cake for it and I think it was a big hit. I tried a new chocolate cake recipe and I’m pretty sure it’s a keeper! The only hangup was that I didn’t have the time over this busy holiday weekend to spread out making my little creations and I had to do the whole thing in one day. It came out pretty cool though so I’m happy!
The invitations had a cute little girl on them so I tried to make the character resemble her and added the flower.
I would have liked this to come out a little nicer but at 2am, that’s what I could get out of my hands… 🙂
