My husband’s brother and his wife are celebrating their 3rd wedding anniversary this week. They had their first baby in February and what new parents aren’t always tired? I saw a picture of my brother-in-law asleep on the couch with the baby and knew that was what I wanted for his character. I thought the baby came out cute too. My sister-in-law is a hair dresser thus the apron and the highlights! I thought this would be a fun cake style for them and I had fun making it! Of course, there are things I learn with every cake I make, especially this one!
The couch and ottoman are made out of dark chocolate cake and covered in chocolate ganache topped with fondant. The characters are also made of fondant so everything is edible. TFL!
