This year’s Thanksgiving was extra special. My in-laws moved (far) away earlier this year. They were able to fly down and we’ve enjoyed their company all week. On Thanksgiving day my parents also joined us and we had a fabulous Thanksgiving dinner!
I did the turkey and started with brining it the day before. That made it juicy and delicious! Everyone else brought over sides and desserts. (sorry no pics, we dug into it really fast!)
Since the weather was reasonably nice we decided outside is where we would set up the tables I made a few years back. The table was set with some mini pumpkins (we needed as much room for the food as possible), my annual cookie turkeys, and this year the name tags went on the glasses – which helped keep track of who’s glass belonged to who once dinner was over. I also added a trivia card to every place setting. We’ve enjoyed playing trivia over the years as I think we’re all a bit competitive! lol
