Happy Monday everyone. It’s the Christmas week countdown and it’s starting out great! I’ve finished most of the projects on my list and with only one major thing left, other than prep for Christmas dinner, I feel a bit relieved. Here’s a picture of the finished flag cookies that were given out at last Saturday’s party.
I also made some rosette barrettes for the first time and gave them to 2 of my nieces. It was a bit frustrating at first, and the hot glue “got” me a couple of times, but in the end I was pleased. I’m looking forward to trying different types of ribbon in the future!
I am still working on our Christmas cards, but I think they will end up being New Year cards. I actually like that thought a bit better anyway as our cards share a little bit of the past year’s happenings. Not so much a newsletter, but a catch up for those we haven’t seen or talked with much through the past year.
I have also started prepping and propping for a couple of parties early next year. Two baby showers, with the first being in the middle of January. The guest of honor requested a gift card shower so we’ve got our work cut out for us. 🙂 It looks like the new year will start with a bang! Here’s a peek at the invitation I made.
I’m sure I’ll be ‘seeing’ you once more before Christmas but until then… “May your days be merry and bright…”
