Events in the City, an event planning company in DC, were moving into a new studio and wanted a fresh logo for their space. It’s always thrilling to see my work in photos. I love, love how sophisticated and fun this turned out! Just like Laura and Megan (and Kristen!)
Often with logos there is a ‘stacked’ version and an ‘in-line’ version, so it can be used in different spaces. When designing each of these I ended up changing the swash of the letter ‘i’ in the middle to work best with the larger text.
Perfect Indulgence Cakes – Maria wanted a unique logo that reflected the style of some of the other logos she had seen. She requested a topsy turvy cake, of which I’m a fan, with the addition of butterflies, floating hearts and a cute little bird. I sketched this out for her and was thrilled that it was her chosen concept!
Noshfest – A fun event logo for a local temple.
Blog Fete – you might remember the post I recently wrote about blog fete. I thoroughly enjoyed coming up with this concept. After getting color direction I was left on my own to create and I believe it’s a balanced mix between ‘digital’, ‘soft’ and ‘playful.’
Love and Sugar Kisses – I designed Maria’s logo a while back and she wanted a new business card as well. She requested the addition of a cake to them to visually emphasize she is a cake decorator. Her colors are so vibrant I love how this turned out!
I have a few more logos in the works but since they’re not completely finalized yet I think I’ll save them for the next logos post. 😀 Thanks for stopping by!
